| OneCoast Showroom Becomes Soundstage for PBS Production | | Product lines featured in National Holiday Special |
OneCoast’s recently opened New York showroom hosted a TV shoot of the PBS
production titled The Holiday Table, scheduled to be broadcast in November 2005.
OneCoast (www.onecoast.com), the giftware, home
furnishings and collegiate industry’s only national team of sales professionals,
maintains premier showrooms throughout the country in the major wholesale markets.
The production was hosted by Chris Fennimore, host of America’s Home
Kitchen, along with Dede Wilson of the Seasonings series and Miami chef and
television personality Jean-Pierre Brehier. Roland Mesnier, former White House
pasty chef who served 3 U.S. Presidents, filmed a segment on preparing a bush
noel.
Paul Thompson, OneCoast VP of Visual Merchandising and Trends, filmed four
segments in the 90 minute show, including one titled “Tabletop for the
Holidays.” Mr. Thompson said that PBS found the showroom to be well suited
for its production needs. “We designed the kitchen to be at the center
of our showroom which made for an ideal set,” Mr. Thompson said. “We
find our retailer and designer customers love the kitchen’s prominence
in our showroom; it is a great location to work and relax.”
OneCoast was able to feature a number of its product lines in the production.
“The showroom is a location to highlight the many great lines which our
company markets, and I was pleased to be able to showcase them in a production
that is scheduled to air right after Thanksgiving,” said Mr. Thompson.
The OneCoast Northeast Home showroom (548 West 28th Street, 3rd floor) is located
in a former print factory which was built in 1873 and recently renovated. The
showroom is in a lively neighborhood filled with galleries, night clubs and
art publications and is located several blocks south of the Jacob Javits Convention
Center. The showroom (800-232-7351) is open Monday through Friday and by appointment
to wholesale buyers and interior designers and their customers. |
