OneCoast Expands Showrooms in Major Markets
Expansions Tied to Retailers Continued Interest in Buying at Shows
January 11, 2007 – OneCoast, the largest and only national provider of sales and marketing services to vendors and retailers of home décor, gift and collegiate products, announced a series of expansions and improvements to its showrooms at this winter’s markets. OneCoast maintains the largest permanent showroom and temporary show presence in the industry. It operates showrooms or exhibits at shows in: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, San Francisco and Seattle.

Below are highlights of OneCoast’s winter 2007 showroom additions and enhancements:

  • Atlanta: OneCoast has reconfigured a portion of its showroom to launch an “Inspiration Boutique.” The boutique displays trend setting products with upscale looks and value pricing; it also inspires retailers to imagine new ways to merchandise product categories they may not have previously considered.
  • Las Vegas: OneCoast opened a new Las Vegas home décor showroom in Building B of the World Market Center (B350) to debut during the Las Vegas Market (Jan 29-Feb 2). OneCoast will feature over a dozen lines, including Vietri, Tag, Home Source, and Thymes.
  • New York International Gift Fair: OneCoast will take a majority of the newly available show floor space in the lobby of Crystal Palace of the Javits Convention Center. Crabtree & Evelyn and Klutz Press are among the two dozen top lines featured.
  • Los Angeles: OneCoast moved to Suite 530 of the LA Mart and tripled the size of its showroom to accommodate the addition of a number of top-selling lines including Tag, Vietri, and SIA.
  • OneCoast’s recently launched National Division ONE will celebrate its first market season by displaying its products in the following OneCoast showrooms: Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles New York and Seattle. These lines include C.R. Gibson/Burnes, Mud Pie, New Creative/Square Nest and Woodstock Chimes.
“Buyers continue to rank show attendance as a key method to learn about and purchase products for their stores,” said Ted Teele, CEO of OneCoast. “In fact, a recent Gift Beat survey indicated that retailers plan to buy more in 2007 at tradeshows (39% of total purchases), up 6 points from last year. So we continue to make our showrooms the most appealing and valuable for retailers in the industry.”
