October 2, 2008 - OneCoast, the largest and only national provider of sales and marketing services to vendors and retailers of home, gift and collegiate products, announced its decision to form a third sales division, called National Division 2 (ND2) to sell vendor lines on a national basis. For 8 years, OneCoast has represented collegiate vendors on a national basis. A second national sales division, called National Division 1 (ND1) was formed in December 2006, representing leading gift and lifestyle vendors. OneCoast remains the only sales organization that can represent vendors and sell to retailers in all 50 states.
The key driver for this decision is the success of the national sales divisions already in place at OneCoast. Over the past two years, these sales divisions have performed well for OneCoast and the vendors it represents nationally, in spite of the changing retail landscape and a challenging economy.
"National line representation provides many more benefits to our vendor partners, including integrated marketing and sales programs, consistent territory manager and product training, a 24x7 wholesale web site that attracts new customers, enhanced merchandising at major markets, and better overall communications," said Ted Teele, OneCoast CEO.
