By John Keiser, SVP What was your favorite summer? Growing up in Bay Village Ohio, we really cherished our summers after those long, cold Northern Ohio winters. Summer fun was defined as at least one trip to Cedar Point Amusement Park, July 4th Parades on Lake Road-straight out of Norman Rockwell, and of course Baseball. Summer fun has been the inspiration of books like “Summer at Tiffany”, and music such as Don Henley’s Boys of Summer, and Alice Cooper’s Schools Out for Summer. Summer Fun can also be a theme for your store to drive traffic, and that is what this issue is all about. You will find some good ideas to drive traffic by having Summer Fun events, and how to merchandise to boost sales. I think you will like what you read. I hope you are enjoying The Resource. We are working very hard to provide actionable ideas that you can implement in your store. Please email me at john.keiser@onecoast.com and let me know your thoughts about The Resource. |
Celebrate Summer with a Hawaiian Luau Party Event
Say “Aloha” to summer with a Hawaiian Luau Party Event in your store. Celebrate and inspire your guests with thoughts of warmer weather and escapes to the tropics! This is a great way to spread ‘island attitude’ to everyone who attends and sell through on your summer merchandise. We could all use a little ‘Tiki Time’.
