Q: Tell us a little about your brand, how long in business, how you got started, etc.

It all began in 1898 with the invention of the very first baby book. From there C.R. Gibson began developing and producing the world’s finest record books, photo albums, social books, and paper products that capture memories and brighten lives. Inspired by our rich history a new generation at C.R. Gibson continues to uphold that vision by ensuring the products we create are reflecting the way people make memories today.

Q: What are your product offerings?  What’s unique about your products vs. others in this category?

Our core categories include Journals/Stationery, Fitlosophy, Baby/Kids/Tween, Kitchen, Seasonal Celebrations, Paper Tableware, Pet and Wallies! Our products are unique to the market with a focus on celebrating and documenting life’s most memorable moments. Our products become a family keepsake that people will treasure for years to come.

Q: Where do you get your inspirations and trend direction from for new products?

We have an internal team of amazing design and product experts that are constantly researching trends across the globe to ensure that we are on top of the latest things happening in the gift, fashion, and home décor world. We use this valuable research to create and design our new product offerings relevant to each of our core categories.

 

Q: What do you love most about attending the markets? 

We love being able to highlight our product and get first-hand feedback from retailers and industry peers. The excitement and inspiration that come out of face-to-face engagements is invaluable.

Q: Why do customers love your products?

We think that our products are loved because they offer the consumer a way to capture and preserve an incredibly special memory or milestone. All our products take into consideration how we can help people celebrate life’s most memorable moments. We incorporate classic details with trend for a nice mix that consumers recognize and appreciate.

Q: What does the future hold for your brand?  Maybe a small sneak peek into future product expansions, ideas, etc.

We are continuing to work on new product expansions across our core product categories. We have a lot of new things coming for our toddler age range that includes Hello! Lucky licensed puzzles and games, Little Chefs in the Kitchen books and baking utensils and a new Potty-Training collection of books, capes and more. In addition, we have new seasonal partyware, balloon kits and more fun seasonal décor under our Kailo Chic license. Our focus continues to be on everything that helps people celebrate and make great memories every day!

Q: Tell us a little about your brand, how long in business, how you got started, etc.

Artisan by LANG and SKYZ by LANG are part of The LANG Companies, Inc. – a division of Design Group Americas, which is an industry leader with 40 years of experience producing art and design-driven gift and specialty products including calendars, drinkware, and stationery.  Artisan by LANG is a lifestyle brand embracing quality and design while offering pure luxury with handmade aesthetics. The eclectic style embodies sophistication, creativity, and individuality.  SKYZ by LANG encourages kids of all ages to show off their unique personalities by encouraging creativity and self-expression.  The SKYZ the limit!

Q: What are your product offerings?  What’s unique about your products vs. others in this category?

Artisan by LANG offers dated good, puzzles, stationery, leather accessories and bags, gift bags and personal accessories in luxury materials with handmade aesthetics.  SKYZ by LANG offers stationery (various journals, notepads, and folders), puzzles drinkware and locker accessories with vibrant colors and lots of embellishments!

Q: Where do you get your inspirations and trend direction from for new products?

We keep a close eye on artwork and market trends, along with vetting out new materials, embellishments, and processes. Specifically, with SKYZ by LANG, we conduct research sessions with kids of varying ages to ensure we are developing relevant artwork and products.

Q: Why do customers love your products?

Both Artisan by LANG and SKYZ by LANG products are loved for their extra touches!  With SKYZ by LANG, customers see all color interiors, color-coordinating spiral bindings, and extra embellishments.  Artisan by LANG is loved for the luxurious feel of the products, premium materials, and extra embellishments.

Q: Tell us a little about your brand, how long in business, how you got started, etc.

Over the past 100+ years, The Gift Wrap Company has grown and expanded to become a major manufacturing and design resource, with a complete product range. Founded in 1903 in Boston, MA as a manufacturer of leather post cards, the company quickly grew to a unique gift packaging company with a flair for innovation and invention. In the late 1980’s Hy-Sil was bought by UK based, International Greetings who later moved the headquarters to Georgia.

Q: What are your product offerings?  What’s unique about your products vs. others in this category?

Our complete, one-stop-shop product offering delivers uniquely creative wholesale gift wrap, designer gift bags and packaging accessories with a reputation for on-trend design and premium quality.

Q: Where do you get your inspirations and trend direction from for new products?

Every design starts in our Hudson, MA design studio where our team of in-house designers research the latest trends from online services, field research and competitive shopping across many different genres to bring products and designs that are FUN, FRESH, FASHIONABLE & FUNCTIONAL! Each year the design team puts out a report outlining the top predicted trends based on our research. This report guides the line development as well as serves as a tool for our sales partners. Colors, icons, buzz words, visual reference and inspiration are included to educate our consumers and inspire their purchases.

Q: What do you love most about attending the markets? 

It is always inspiring to see the exciting and fun products that each of our peers brings to market. The way each business embraces the trends, the colors, the motifs, and applies them to their particular product category is just so interesting.

Our products are designed to evoke feelings of joy, appreciation and celebration. Happiness is at the core of everything we manufacture. We craft with tasteful embellishments, quality materials and whimsical patterns and motifs. Sustainability is a big push for us. We are continuously researching new materials and practices that can do less damage to the environment yet still scream “FUN” all at the same time. It is critical that we all embrace sustainable measures in all parts of our business. At The Gift Wrap Company, we continue our mission to bring “gift wrap goodness” to all aspects of gift packaging and highlight the positivity, optimism and happiness that is spread through gifting.
